Well folks, we are finally a little less than a week away from the full official reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's multiplayer mode (I know it's certainly been a long couple months for most of us). Since we're so close, Infinity Ward has started teasing the mode on its Twitter account and, compared to other Call of Duty games, it's looking quite different. The tease itself shows what it's like to load into a multiplayer match. In previous games, players would see a static or sometimes dynamic loading screen showing images of the map you're about to play on. Now, it seems like Infinity Ward is trying to make the transition between multiplayer and single-player more seamless by making each map seem like a single-player mission. This means that each match opens with the traditional green mission text on the bottom left of the screen, before showing you and your team flying into the map on a helicopter. It's pretty different for a Call of Duty game and I highly recommend checking it out if you've been skeptical of the game thus far. You can check out the video for yourself at the end of the article.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's multiplayer is set to be revealed at an event on August 1, 2019. While we don't know the full extent of what will be revealed, we assume that we'll get information about a slew of maps and modes from the multiplayer.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on October 25, 2019, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
