When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released back in 2009, one of the more iconic parts of the game was the night-vision goggles that were included with the prestige edition of the game. Now, it seems like Infinity Ward wants to do something similar with this year's Modern Warfare as the developer has revealed some new night-vision goggles themed after the reboot of the popular franchise.Of course, the night vision goggles themselves look very different than the ones released almost 10 years ago. While I'm no night-vision goggle expert, but they seem to based on EOTech Ground Panoramic goggles (they also surprisingly look like the same night-vision goggles that the specialist Recon uses in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4). If you want to check out a picture of the goggles themselves, you can find it at the end of the article.Right now, not much is known about how players can get access to the night-vision goggles. Some rumors have suggested that it'll be available in a special edition to the game, but as of the time of this writing that is unconfirmed. What is known is that players will be able to get the full info drop on these goggles at the official multiplayer reveal for the game tomorrow, August 1, 2019.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on October 25, 2019, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Players who pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store will receive a playable Classic Captain Price skin for use in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout mode.
