Koei Tecmo released a new trailer revealing Ryu Hayabusa's disciple Momiji is getting into Dead or Alive 6 as a paid DLC character. Momiji will be getting her set of costumes like all other characters in the game, and each character will also be getting new ninja outfits.

It's interesting to note both Momiji and the ninja outfits are added as part of Ninja Gaiden's 15th anniversary. The game released in 2004 on Xbox. Ryu Hayabusa also got back into Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate. Would be nice if a new Ninja Gaiden game released. But I guess you can get a slightly similar fix with Nioh 2.

Koei Tecmo recently partnered up with SNK and added Mai and Kula to Dead or Alive 6. SNK is, you know, these random guys totally not important to gaming history and who got "Burly Pokemon Trainer" into Smash Ultimate. As a side note, some young Japanese people on Twitter actually called Terry "Burly Pokemon Trainer" when he got revealed, which was pretty cute. Nintendo sure forged a masterpiece with that reveal trailer.

The Japanese dub version of Momiji's trailer is also included below, with Momiji voiced by Yuko Minaguchi. She's one of my favorite seiyuu, and I like Momiji too, hence why I'm taking some time for this. As to be honest, I'm still not that interested in DOA6 itself as I wish they'd add a Tag Team Battle mode for some Dead Or Alive 2 Dreamcast vibes. Some people complained about the sexual fanservice getting toned down, which actually didn't happen in the scale of the series, except when compared to DOA5 which was exceptional in that regard, while Tag Team Battle is the real thing missing about DOA6.

Dead Or Alive 6 is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. September 20 is also Momiji's birthday.
