As Capcom's Monster Hunter series continues its reign of world domination this year, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate brings the enormous giants onto Nintendo's tiny hybrid system.

Nintendo has celebrated the launch of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate with an exciting new trailer displaying the various different ways in which it can be enjoyed. You can venture into its massive world alone, braving its environments and the monsters within or you can form a team of up to four players to fight alongside. Players can battle using up to six different hunter styles including Valor and Alchemy variations. You can even take on the game's vast array of epic creatures as a tiny and adorable Palico.

Of course, what this series really boils down to is the monsters and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate has more than its fair of beasts share to offer. Throughout the trailer, we are treated to all manner of ferocious monstrosities. There are gargantuan mammoth-like creatures, epic winged dragons, vicious lizards, and colossal powerhouses to dispatch with a range of weaponry.
