Nintendo Switch owners have been feasting on the latest entry in the beloved Monster Hunter series, Rise, for a little while now.

The game was released at the end of March and players have had ample opportunity to take down the Magnamalo and many other monsters. The same sadly can't be said for PC players.

The game was a launch exclusive to Nintendo's hybrid console, meaning PC players have to wait until January next year to get their hands on the title.

Thankfully, Capcom will be releasing a trial for the game very soon, so here's everything you need to know about the Monster Hunter Rise PC Demo including the release date and time we expect it to go live.

Monster Hunter Rise PC Demo Release Date and Expected Time

The Monster Hunter Rise PC demo is going live via Steam today, Wednesday, October 13.

While there is no "official" release time for the demo, it's likely that it will go live when the Steam Store refreshes. This takes place at 8 am PT/11 am ET/4 pm UK.

Should any official news come out, we'll be sure to update this article straight away.

What's Included in The Demo?

The Monster Hunter Rise PC demo will include the following for players to get stuck into:

  • Basic Training Quest
  • Wyvern Riding Training Quest
  • Slay a Great Izuchi
  • Slay a Mizutsune
  • Slay Magnamalo

Players may notice that these are the same five quests that the Nintendo Switch Monster Hunter Rise demo included. These offer a great sampling of what the game entails.

Any player who plays the demo will also get a bonus when playing the full version of the game. This includes 20 Mega Potions, 5 Pitfall Traps, 10 Energy Drinks, 5 Mega Demondrugs and 5 Mega Armorskins. Not bad.
