Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Japanese Launch is Monstrous

The Japanese really love their Monster Hunter. For proof, note that Monster Hunter Tri was the biggest third party game released for the Nintendo Wii over there, and you know how many of those there are. The newest game in the series, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was released today for the PSP, and chaos ensued.

Apparently there were many lines, like the one pictured above, that stretched several blocks. Hit the links below for more pics of lines at the explosive event. An American release of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is not confirmed as of yet.
