Today, during Sony Interactive Entertainment's E3 2017 press briefing, the house of PlayStation and Capcom announced Monster Hunter World.

This marks the return of the franchise to PlayStation, after quite a few years without a new title (besides the super-old Monster Hunter Frontier Z, that was hardly enough to satisfy the fns of the franchise on PlayStation platforms).

The announcement came with a really spectacular trailer, that you can enjoy below. It's simply Monster Hunter, but it doesn't look terrible, which is a rather new sensation after years of permanence on 3DS of any relevant chapter of the franchise.

The game will come to PS4 in early 2018, but no exclusivity was mentioned during the press conference.

Update: Capcom confirmed that Monster Hunter World is also coming for Xbox One and PC (If you're wondering, no Nintendo Switch version was mentioned).  If you want to read more about the game, and see some really gorgeous screenshots, you can check  out our dedicated article.
