Yersterday night, Capcom made the pre-load of the beta of Monster Hunter World available for pre-load in Europe. Today they followed up by extending the same courtesy to gamers in North America.

The beta can be downloaded from the North American PlayStation Store only for PS4, and exclusively by PlayStation Plus members.

You won’t be able to play the game immediately, as the beta starts tomorrow, giving you a few hours to download it. It begins on December 9th at 9 AM PST, which translates to Noon EST, 5 PM GMT, 6 PM CET and 2 AM (on the 10th) Japan Time. it will end on December 12th at the same hour.

Ther will be quite a bit of content available, and while we won't be able to customize characters (twelve presets will be available, plus six palicoes), we'll be able to enjoy the training area and three missions of increasing difficulty against a Great Jagras, a Barroth and an Anjanath.

Offline play won't be available, even if players will be able to tackle missions solo if they so wish.

If you want to find out all there is to know about the beta, you can check out our dedicated article. You can also check out quite a few videos released by Capcom earlier today, showing pretty much every aspect of the beta.
