Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the latest expansion for 2018's action title, is set to arrive on Xbox One and PS4 in early September. For those on PC though, Capcom has stated that they'd have to wait a bit longer to see the add-on come there way. As of today though, we now know just when Iceborne will be heading to PC.

Announced via the official Monster Hunter Twitter account, it has now been revealed that Iceborne will be available on PC about four months after it arrives on consoles. As of now, January 2020 is the window in which Capcom has stated Iceborne will drop for PC players of Monster Hunter World. A more specific date other than this month-long window was not given as of this writing.

While this is a bit more of a wait than I think many might have initially expected, it still isn't too long after the expansion's launch on consoles. I know some were hoping Iceborne would come to PC before the end of 2019, but the first month of 2020 isn't all that bad, either. And besides, as they say, patience makes the heart grow fonder.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks to hear more of what we have to say on Iceborne once it arrives in September. For now, Monster Hunter World is out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
