Capcom released a new trailer for the Iceborne extension of Monster Hunter World during the Gamescom 2019 Opening Night Live event.

It's a cinematic trailer revealing slightly more about the new story elements which will be introduced in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.  The second part of the trailer features the story related fight against the new elder dragon, the Velkhana. The trailer is embedded below.

More gameplay was shown recently showing some of the gameplay additions in Iceborne. Monster Hunter World is also one of Capcom's biggest recent financial successes, along with Devil May Cry V and Resident Evil 2's remake, putting the Japanese studio back into the world scene.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches on September 6 on PS4, Xbox One. The PC version will come a bit later in January. If you don't already own the base game, you can preorder the new physical version launching for Iceborne on Amazon.
