New Monster Hunter World Trailer in English Stars the Elder Dragons and a New Monster; Looks Epic
Capcom showcases the new trailers of Monster Hunter World in English, alongside a batch of new screenshots including the new monster Dodogama.
Following the release of the new trailer of Monster Hunter World in Japanese, the western arm of Capcom followed up via press release, revealing the English version of the video.
The trailer showcases gameplay, story, cutscenes and more, for a bunch of absolutely charming monster hunting goodness.
Interestingly, it focuses on the elder dragons and showcases returning monsters like Teostra and Kushala Daora.
“The steel dragon Kushala Daora is a beast with a body covered in metal plates and has the power to keep hunters at bay by generating wind storms around itself. The flame king dragon Teostra is a brutal fiend that spits blazing fire and any hunter who faces this fierce and deadly monster is in danger of being engulfed in a hellish inferno.”
A new critter named Dodogama (a fanged wyvern) also appears. It’s described in the press release as “a rock-eating wyvern that possesses a unique saliva that causes rock to become explosive, a hazardous mix it will spit at its foes to warn off attackers.”
We also get the confirmation that the new open beta coming between January 18th and January 22nd will also involve Europe and North America, so you don’t have to worry about being left out.
On top of the new trailer, we also get to see the English version of the first free DLC, featuring another well-known monster: Deviljho.
