More Information On First Trial In Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies Is Revealed
Today we get our first look at the defendant that Phoenix Wright must represent in court in the latest Ace Attorney game, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies. Artwork has also been released for the first trial’s prosecutor, Gaspen Payne, the younger brother of Winston “Rookie Killer” Payne, who’s out for revenge.
The defendant’s Japanese name is Shinobu Morizumi (apt because “Mori” from Morizumi means forest which she loves) and she’s a kind-hearted high school student whose reason for being accused in the first place is unclear as of now.
Apollo Justice (the protagonist from Ace Attorney 4) is also mentioned and an important question is asked–who owns the coat that Apollo is wearing in the artwork? It’s implied that the coat owner is somehow important to the plot.
While I’m still a little disappointed that Apollo won’t be getting a sequel to his game anytime soon, I’m still super excited for Dual Destinies due to the new gameplay, graphics and excellent plot.
