More PSP Love Via Obscure: The Aftermath

Obscure: The Aftermath‘s story trails a group of friends who attend university together. Thy discover a strange, black flower with hallucinogenic effects. This flower also has the ability to induce very vivid dreams. As these games tend to do, the kids eventually find themselves fighting for their lives and their sanity as their nightmares manifest themselves into reality.

I know you haven’t gotten enough teen angst in recent books and movies, but now you get it in game form! The game features a dark and horrific story, moody music, action-packed game play, a variety of weapons to use in your defense and 2-player co-op to team up with a friend for puzzle-solving mayhem. Yet another game that ships today, from Playlogic Entertainment. It’s available for Sony’s PSP at a price of $29.99. If you’re a fan of teen horror and want a gorgeous and darkly satisfying hand-held experience, this might just be the game for you. If it doesn’t have sparkly vampires, though, I’m out.
