With Mortal Kombat 11 being officially revealed at this year's Game Awards, the next mystery as to who exactly will be on the roster. And it really is anyone's guess since that interesting trailer that gave us not one, but two Scorpions. However, Mortal Kombat 11's Director Ed Boon is always around to tease announcements and slam down fake leaks. As usual, Ed Boon kept things lively on Twitter yesterday regarding the roster. In a joking tweet, he "konfirmed" Kenshi -- the blindfolded swordsman from the Mortal Kombat series -- in a joke on the latest screenshot from Sandra Bullock's Bird Box:

As a quick point of reference, this is Kenshi from Mortal Kombat X. Note the obvious similarity:

Kenshi Mortal Kombat X

Now it'd be absolutely amazing if there was a Kenshi origins film with Sandra Bullock, but this is clearly just Ed Boon being himself and trolling the rumors.

Of course, the community is known for hanging on and dissecting every word from Ed Boon. When presented with a "leaked" roster for Mortal Kombat 11 that included Kenshi, Ed Boon laughed it off saying to "bring the tweet up after you see the real roster":

Though this list looks rather--generic-- it would be probably safe to say some of these characters would make it into Mortal Kombat 11. But with the fact that Ed straight up mocks this tweet brings up even more suspicion as to who is coming to the game. Will we be seeing favorites like Erron Black and Kitana, or is this game going to really mix up the roster? So far from screenshots, we only get Raiden and Scorpion. However, my money is on Sandra Bullock Kenshi and 21 Savage.

In other Mortal Kombat 11 news, leaks still are very much a thing. For instance, GameStop Italy managed to leak an unseen Shao Kahn render and some details about the upcoming game.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases April 23, 2019 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. New information should be coming soon at a “community reveal,” so we will keep you updated on that as it develops. If you want to pre-order the game to grab Shao Kahn, you can do that now on Amazon.
