The Terminator T-800 will be the first arrival of all the new characters heading to Mortal Kombat 11. We knew that he shared Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness despite not being voiced by the man, but today's new gameplay trailer gives us a better look at his moves.

The Terminator moves like he did in the films--deliberately and like a freaking tank. He mostly uses hand-to-hand combat and sprinkles gunfire into his combos. Grappling an enemy appears to bring out some of his more high-tech weaponry unless they're in the air--then come the slams. He also blocks a number of attacks, giving him some defense that matches his tanky movement. Although being a brick wall apparently won't stop him from teleporting behind opponents to deliver a big boot to the face.

The trailer also showed off The Terminator's transformation into his endoskeleton form. I'm not sure what the exact conditions are for this transformation but it allows the T-800 to absorb hits without blocking. And of course, we get to see his Fatal Blow and Fatality. I won't spoil those--you can watch them yourself right here:

The Terminator T-800 arrives in Mortal Kombat 11 as part of the Kombat Pack on Oct. 8. That piece of DLC also includes Sindel, Joker, and Spawn. Those characters will show up on Nov. 26, Jan. 28, and March 17, respectively.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It's also coming to Google Stadia. Those interested in the Kombat Pack can find it in the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 11 on Amazon. You can buy a digital code for the Kombat Pack instead if you already own the game.
