Often we tend to play fighting games in a 2D view of the scene as it provides the best control over the playable characters and the fighting area, however, have you ever dreamed of playing a fighting game in the first-person view? If you have, then you should be happy with this new mod for Mortal Kombat 11 that allows you to play the game in the first-person mode.

It's a strange but interesting experience to see how it works when you play a fighting game like Mortal Kombat 11 in a first-person view. Of course, it wouldn't be easy to win fights in such a situation, but it feels special to actually be the character itself and look directly in the eye to all your opponents. Even if nothing, at least with a first-person mod you can eventually find out that how the other side of the fighting arena looks, the side that's always behind the camera.

Thanks to a new camera mod released by Ermaccer for the PC version of Mortal Kombat 11, you can now play this game in the first-person or third-person view. While the first-person view in this mod looks a bit clunky and needs a lot of improvements, the third-person view is more playable and provides you a nice look around the fighting arena.

You can download this camera mod from here if you are interested in trying it out, but keep in mind that using mods in Mortal Kombat 11 might get you banned from the game. So, you should probably avoid installing mods on your game, but if you want it so badly, at least don't try them out in the online modes of the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can check out DualShockers' review of the game here.
