NetherRealm Studios Creative Director Ed Boon knew fans were thirsty for some more Nightwolf. So in turn he delivered to us a tasty drop of footage. The long awaited Mortal Kombat 11 DLC fighter received a teaser trailer, courtesy of Ed Boon’s official Twitter account:

This recent glimpse comes after a more somber image of Nightwolf had been previously teased by Boon. This video clip, however, shows him briefly wielding his trademark tomahawk before lifting it into the air. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of the Mortal Kombat 11 fighter soon, as in a full blown trailer, as well as an official release date.

Boon previously teased Sindel’s character model, another upcoming DLC fighter for the game. In that model, she’s decked out in her Revenant form as Sindel died in the story of 2011’s Mortal Kombat. In more good news, Mortal Kombat 11‘s official soundtrack is now available on streaming services.

Recently on Twitter Boon had weighed in on the rumors claiming that Sony’s upcoming PS5 will be more powerful when compared to Microsoft’s Xbox Scarlett once both consoles end up hitting the market. He remarked that it’s basically impossible for anyone to know at the moment whether PS5 or Xbox Scarlett will be more powerful than the other once both platforms launch. “How can anyone confidently make either statement without having worked on the final hardware for each?” Boon asked.

You can purchase Mortal Kombat 11 for PS4Xbox One, or Switch. And if you’re still undecided, check out our glowing DualShockers review of Mortal Kombat 11 here.
