There's no denying that the recent reveal event for Mortal Kombat 11 was a hectic affair. In under an hour, we saw the unveiling of brand new character Geras, the signature bloody carnage of the title's gameplay, and a number of other features to boot. While these were the main events, somethings may have slipped past viewers; especially things that only appeared on screen for an instant.

An interview with Community Manager Tyler Lansdown on the live stage led to the unveiling of Mortal Kombat 11's sleek Kollector's Edition. However, while speaking about surprises that wait in store for viewers of Kombat Kast a figure can be seen sprinting across the screen. In the blink of an eye, the figure is gone, leaving unsuspecting viewers in disbelief.

From here, host Joshua Gray asks Lansdown about the mysterious figure, only to be told to tune into Kombat's Kast's first episode when it returns on January 30, 2019.

It's reasonable to assume that it was indeed Kabal who caused all the commotion. Debuting back in Mortal Kombat 3, Kabal's signature move sees him sprinting past opponents with such speed that it renders them dizzy for a number of seconds.

You can check out the video below to see the moment in question for yourself. Lansdown takes to the stage about the 58-minute mark and the figure makes its unexpected appearance moments later.

The blook-soaked Mortal Kombat 11 will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23, 2019, featuring a robust roster of 25 playable characters.
