Sonya Blade's Iconic Mortal Kombat 3 Outfit Joins Mortal Kombat 11

The most memorable look that Sonya has ever donned has now come to Mortal Kombat 11.

Alongside the release of Nightwolf today via Early Access for Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealm Studios has added something else to the game’s Kombat Pack that those MK fans from the 90s are sure to love.

With the character of Sonya Blade, NetherRealm has now added her iconic green and white garb that she wore back in 1995’s release of Mortal Kombat 3. This new costume is one of the true throwbacks that have now been included in MK11 and calls back to an old entry in the series.

For those who weren’t a fan of Sonya’s new design in MK11 or didn’t love that she was now voiced by current WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey, perhaps this will make utilizing her all the more nostalgic. More than any other character in Mortal Kombat history, Sonya has perhaps had the most drastic design change from one game to the next. This design from MK3 though is likely the most well-known though and is what many who cosplay as the character tend to base their outfits on.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. If you want to grab the Kombat Pack for yourself, it retails for $39.99.
