Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Summer Heat Skin Pack Goes Live August 6

Cookin' with Baraka.

Summer is about to get a whole lot bloodier. Well, sorta? It’s already going to be bloody if you’re planning to play Mortal Kombat 11 at some point. Well, today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer NetherRealm Studios have revealed the first of three skin packs that are heading to Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath.

Those who own Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will be getting access to the upcoming Summer Heat Skin Pack which introduces three new skins for Kitana, Baraka, and Erron Black. This skin pack will be available from August 6 and are all themed to be Summer like. You can check out the image below to have a nose at them.

This skin pack is only the first of three that are due to roll out throughout the next two months. The next skin pack to become available to those who own the Aftermath expansion will be the Femme Fatale skin pack that lands on August 25. The All Hallows’ Eve skin pack arrives shortly after on October 8. These three skin packs will all include three skins each.

Fans will need to ensure they own the Aftermath expansion which is Mortal Kombat’s first-ever major expansion and introduces a new cinematic story, 3 new fighters to play as, and the 3 skin packs mentioned above will be unlocked when ready. More skin packs are to be announced in the future.

For now, you can squint and try and make out what you think the character skins will look like from the silhouettes below. You probably won’t learn much because they’re boring silhouettes.

If you already own the base game and want to grab Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, you can pick it up on Amazon. You can also check out our review on the expansion here. There is also an Aftermath Collection which includes the base game and the Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and the Aftermath expansion is available to purchase on all available platforms.
