Mortal Kombat Developer Unveils New Fighting Game

The folks at NetherRealm Studios have been doing more than laying on their sides counting money since Mortal Kombat released. They’ve been busy developing a new game – a fighting game to be exact. The game is called Injustice: Gods Among Us, and it’ll feature a host of heroes and villains from the DC Comics universe, including: “Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others”.

The team promises that the game will sport fast-paced action, epic battles and will be unlike any other title in the genre. Lofty claim or bold promise? Either way, it’s destined to be better than Mortal Kombat Vs. DC, Right? The game will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U sometime next year, though few other details are available.

Hopefully we’ll see this one at E3.
