Collector's items are no stranger to those that play video games, especially when it comes to prized recreations of retro games or arcade classics. While we don't see them too often nowadays, arcade cabinets are making a bit of a comeback, and Supreme has one in store for collectors (especially Mortal Kombat fans) later this year.

Supreme revealed a look at its upcoming line of accessories and gear for its fall/holiday 2020 catalog, and part of that includes a full-on arcade cabinet for Mortal Kombat. As seen in the preview images for its fall/winter 2020 collection, the Supreme cabinet comes with Mortal KombatMortal Kombat II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

According to additional details from PCMag, the cabinet itself seems to be based on a cabinet that released last year from Arcade1Up, and comes at around 3/4 the size of a typical arcade cabinet (with an optional riser that can be put under the cabinet to prop it up). Additionally, the cabinet features a 17-inch LCD screen and two sets of arcade controls to let you finish off your friends MK-style.

While this is the first arcade cabinet to make its way to retail from Supreme, the company has dabbled in other high-end gaming collectibles before. Specifically, in 2018 the retailer partnered with pinball maker Stern to create its own vintage Supreme pinball machine. At the time, only 12 of these pinball machines were manufactured and were rumored to cost around $11,000 each. Given that precedent, it's probably expected that Supreme's Mortal Kombat cabinet will likely demand a high price and will be in extremely limited demand, but we'll have to wait for more details on it to see.
