Mortal Kombat X‘s PC system requirements have been revealed on the game’s Steam page today, coming shortly after the game was made available for pre-order on the digital distribution service.

Hopefully Mortal Kombat X has better luck on PC than the series’ last entry, Mortal Kombat 9, that was a port rough around the edges and plagued by netcode issues. Here are the game’s minimum and recommended specs:

OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 | AMD Radeon HD 5850
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

OS: 64-bit: Win 7, Win 8
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 | AMD Radeon HD 7950
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 40 GB available space

Not exactly heavy hitting, but still requiring a moderately powerful PC to make the cozy recommended mark. Seeing the recommended RAM requirements continue to climb is still my only qualm, as the same 8 GB requirement was recently seen in Battlefield: Hardline‘s system requirements as well. Everything else seems fairly standard, so let’s hope that the game’s performance is up to par.

Mortal Kombat X releases on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, PS4 and PC on April 14th, 2015.
