MotoGP 17 Officially Announced, Getting New Online Mode; Will Run at 60 FPS

Milestone have officially announced MotoGP 17. Alongside the announcement we also received a release date, new trailer and a confirmation that the game will run at 60FPS, a first for the series.

Milestone have officially announced the release date for their upcoming MotoGP 17 game. The latest addition to the series will feature all of the official riders, teams and tracks of the 2017 season of MotoGP. The game is set to release on July 11, 2017 across PS4, Xbox One and PC.

MotoGP 17 will be available exclusively at GameStop in the United States and participating retailers in Canada and Latin America. Those who pre-order will be granted access to the MotoGP 17 credits multiplier. The game will also be available for digital download. It was also announced that a new online game mode would be included, however details surrounding the new mode have not been shared at this time. Additionally, for the first time ever in MotoGP history, the game will be run at a buttery smooth 60FPS.

Matteo Pezzotti, Milestone Lead Designer had this to say in regards to the announcement:

“We are working really hard to make MotoGP 17 not just a seasonal update, but an enjoyable game which is full of all the innovations which the fans of the series have asked for over the years. We will have a new competitive and thrilling online mode, a completely revolutionized career mode and much more. I don’t want to reveal too much, but I can assure you that you will see great things in the next few months. In the meantime, sit back and watch the beginning of the new season with us”.

The 2017 edition of the official MotoGP videogame brings all the adrenaline and need for speed of the new motorbike world champion with it. The title will include all the official riders, teams and tracks of the 2017 season, the new rules and the Red Bull Rookies Cup championship. In addition to this, you’ll find more than 70 legendary riders from 4 Stroke, 2 Stroke 500cc, 2 Stroke 250cc, 2 Stroke 125cc. Experience new competitive and thrilling online modes and a completely revolutionized career mode!

MotoGP 17 is scheduled to release on July 11, 2017 across PS4, PC and Xbox One.
