Marvel Studios released the much-awaited premiere episode of Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus. Episode 1 introduces us to Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old girl who is obsessed with Captain Marvel. The show doesn't waste any time and gives us a glimpse of Kamala's cosmic powers in the very first episode.

In Episode 1, we learn that Kamala is fascinated with superheroes, and she lives in fantasy land through cosplays and fan arts. We also hear a brief mention of Kamala's grandmother (Nani), who sends some weird stuff to their house, which includes a bracelet. Kamala's mother gets anxious seeing her daughter holding the bracelet, so she asks her son, Aamir, to put the stuff away. So, it's safe to assume that her mother already knew that the Bracelet holds some mystery.

Anyway, going against her parents' wishes, Kamala sneaks out of the house with Bruno to visit the AvengerCon. Obviously, she decides to dress as Captain Marvel; however, she was required to bring something of her own to take part in the costume competition. Well, as expected, Kamala decides to wear her Nani's bracelet in the competition. Immediately after wearing it, Kamala senses a strange aura around her and sees a glimpse of a different realm or planet.

Kamala's Bracelet Might be an Alien Tech

As suggested in the trailer, Kamala Khan doesn't get any shapeshifting abilities in the TV show. Instead, the bracelet allows her to control a purple cosmic energy, which makes her powers different from they are in the comic books. As of now, there's no concrete answer around the bracelet's origins. However, there's a chance that they are an alien artifact, and if that's true, Kamala's bracelets might have the same origin as Shang-Chi's rings. Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner are already studying the ten-rings, so it's possible that Carol Danvers will come across Ms. Marvel because of the bracelet.

Of course, Kamala doesn't know how to control these powers, so she creates a mess at the AvengerCon. However, she does uses her bracelet's powers to save one of the her classmates. Kamala asks Bruno not to tell anyone about her powers, but little did the girl know that she is already under someone's radar.

Ms. Marvel Post-Credit Scene Explained

Ms Marvel has a post-credit scene in Episode 1, which introduces us to Cleary and Deever, two agents from the US Department of Damage Control. Cleary is the same agent we saw in Spider-Man: No Way Home, when he was questioning Peter Parker. The two agents watches the clip of Kamala from the AvengerCon.

Fortunately, it's not an evil organization that is after Kamala, but it's fore sure that the Damage Control will create a lot of problems for the teenager.
