A new set of Un-set cards is on the way to arrive in Q2 2022 for MTG fans all around the world. Let's find out more about the MTG Unfinity cards and the official release date.

Magic The Gathering is probably one of the biggest board games of history with an ever-evolving universe that receives more and more cards and expansions year after year.

  • CHECK THIS OUT: MTG Innistrad: Crimson Vow Bundle, Boosters, Cards, Price

Earlier this month, players got their hands on the Innistrad: Crimson Vow bundle, and last night, Wizards of the Coast revealed only a part of their upcoming plans for the future of MTG in 2022 by teasing a little bit about the next Un-set cards.

The design process for the Unfinity cards began a few months after launching Unstable cards back in December 2017. As the developer reveals, they have tried to follow a Top-Down design in Unfinity similar to Innistrad, Theros, and Throne of Eldraine sets.

Below, you can check out some of the cards in the Unfinity set, including Acorn cards, Eternal cards, and a Showcase card:

As you can guess, some of the cards from Unfinity will be playable in Vintage, Commander, and Legacy despite being an Un-set. It's something that we didn't see in the previous Un-set series.

When Is the MTG Unfinity Set Release Date?

The MTG Unfinity set will be available on April 1, 2022. Prior to its launch, the developer will share more details about the cards and gameplay mechanics in multiple previews.

Unfortunately, the price tag for different bundles of Unfinity sets has not been revealed yet, which will probably be shared when the sets go live on online markets for pre-order.

Magic The Gathering also has a digital version called MTG Arena which you can play on mobile or PC.
