The New Mugsters Trailer Flaunts All of the Ways It Will Break Your Spirit
Mugsters, the physics-based puzzle game coming on July 17th, playfully challenges players with a new trailer showing off the game's unforgiving nature.
As Bruce Willis learned in Armageddon, saving the world isn’t as easy as it looks. The new trailer for Mugsters, the physics-based puzzle game from developer Reinkout, hammers that point home, and with the way this game looks, I don’t want to miss a thing.
Okay, Aerosmith pun aside, the new Mugsters trailer showcases a variety of different gameplay mechanics, all of which look more intimidating than the last. This, of course, is cynically prefaced with the W. C. Fields quote, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There’s no point in being a damn fool about it.” The trailer then proceeds to show a highlight reel of the game’s driving, flying, and running mechanics, all of which seem enticingly difficult from the game’s unique physics.
While it’s unclear whether Mugsters qualifies as a bonafide “rage game,” there’s no denying that the game is going to have its fair share of difficulty. That being said, saving the world is never easy, and any player that attempts to defeat the aliens and save humanity in Mugsters definitely knows what they’re getting into.
Check out the new “Fails Trailer” for the game below. Mugsters will be available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac on July 17th.
