Known as Oboro Muramasa in Japan, Aksys Games have already teased and detailed the port of the much-praised Wii game Muramasa: The Demon Blade! to the PS Vita, with not one Japanese teaser, but two, plus screenshots of four new playable DLC characters and new scenarios. Now Aksys Games have released new info on the new port, including its North America title, Muramasa Rebirth.

Besides bringing beautiful new OLED graphics to the already drool-worthy 2D visuals, this PS Vita port will also be bringing back the two stories: following Momohime, a princess possessed by an evil spirit, and Kisuke, an amnesiac ninja; and the 108 Blades that can be collected, each with unique special abilities. The DLC --collectively known as the Bizarre Genroku Tales--will include a cat-girl named Nekomata Okoi, a ninja named Arashimaru, an imp named Rajaki, and a country bumpkin named Gonbee.

So far, we know that the game will be released in Japan on March 23, 2013, and that the DLC will release sometime afterwards. You can check out the game's new website or check out some new pictures below.
