Make no mistake, Murdered: Soul Suspect is a crime-horror game which will characterized by gameplay and a story that is much deeper than your average shooter – or so the developer says.

“We’re not an action game…We’re not trying to make this really hard, visceral combat. We want it to be much more cerebral,” Airtight Games Senior Game Design Producer Eric Studer explained to Eurogamer, “we want the player thinking about these encounters, thinking about the spaces and building a strategy similar to what they would do in one of the investigations.” “Our game is intentionally slower paced…It’s intentionally more of a slower burn, because we want to build the tension and threat and mystery and intrigue,” he added.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is being developed by Airtight Games and will be published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in June of this year.
