Alex Moukala Music, a YouTube channel run by a professional music producer, released a video this week to celebrate the release of Persona 5 Royal where he takes an in-depth look at the track "Rivers in the Desert."

Music fans will particularly enjoy this look at the track as it looks at the musical theory behind the track itself. Moukala does a fantastic job explaining it in a way for non-music aficionados like myself. On his channel, he has done similar studies of tracks from other titles such as "Ludwig, The Holy Blade" from Bloodborne and "Bombing Mission" from Final Fantasy 7. He has also covered other Persona 5 tracks like "Last Surprise."

Persona 5 Royal perhaps has one of the strongest game soundtracks of this generation, thanks to expertly composed and performed tracks like the "Rivers in the Desert." The melodies, unisons, and tones of the pieces featuring thought-provoking lyrics have landed the game's soundtrack on many people's music-listening devices of both gamers and non-gamers alike.

There is no better time to learn about the music of this week's Western release of the enhanced Persona 5 Royal. A bunch of us just began working through this monolithic 100+ hour adventure, myself included. For our official thoughts on the game, you can check out our Alissa James' review as well as her review discussion with our Video Editor Mario Rivera. Both are worth checking out if you are curious.

Persona 5 Royal is available now on the PS4.
