Today, publisher Soedesco and developer Triangle Studios announced the release date for their music-themed RPG, AereA. The game will be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, on June 30th, 2017. Not only is it coming this summer, but the game will also be available as both a digital and physical release.

Within the game you can play as four different characters, each with their own abilities. Music is a huge part of AereA. In fact, every character is music themed. First, we have Jacques, who is described as a "cello knight." He uses a cello and bow stick as a shield and sword respectfully. Wolff is a "harp archer," and uses a weapon that's a combination of a harp and a bow and arrow. Next we have the "lute mage," Jules, and he uses a magical lute (which is an instrument that is similar looking to a guitar) as a weapon. Finally, we have Claude, who is a "trumpet gunner," and uses projectile firing trumpets.

The game also supports 4-player local co-op, which can be turned off and on at any time during the game.

Soedesco also revealed that each boss will be not only unique in it's play style, but in the fact that each one is based off a different musical instrument, just like our heroes.
