Back in February, Bearded Ladies and Funcom announced Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, an XCOM inspired turn-based strategy game set within the popular Mutant tabletop game universe. Today, the developers have given us a look at over 18 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay, so you can finally see how Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden works for yourself.

This gameplay video, which is presented by the developers themselves, was originally shown off at GDC last week, but is now available to the public. If you are a fan of the XCOM series, you will certainly see the clear inspiration here, but Mutant Year Zero: Road of Eden does enough with its exploration features and world to set the game apart.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden runs on Unreal Engine 4 and follows the story a ragtag group of heroes, including an anthropomorphic duck named Dux, and a pig named Bormin. They are trying to find the legendary Eden, but in order to do so, they must survive in a mutant infested post apocalyptic world.

You can check out the 18 minutes of new gameplay below. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is currently poised to release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2018.
