DMM's Muv-Luv mobile game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is celebrating Mother's Day with another of its special events this week.

The Muv-Luv series isn't exactly full of mothers, but there are a few, and the developers found the best candidate for the role for two Power-type pilots in the gacha. The first is one of my personal favorites,  211st Tactical Armored Battalion Zhar commander Fikatsia Latrova. She actually has a son, even if his whereabouts are unknown, and she pretty much treats her pilots like they were her own children.

The second is a less obvious choice, but ultimately pretty much inevitable to anyone who knows the series. Marimo Jinguji doesn't have any offspring. Yet, in the multiple roles she covers across the timeline, she can be pretty much identified as a mother figure.

For those who aren't very lucky at gacha, we also get two free SSR TSF, Marimo-chan's Type-77 Gekishin and Fikatsia's Su-37M2 Terminator. You can check them all out below, as usual, portrayed by lovely illustrations.

In other Muv-Luv news, you can check out our recent review of the main trilogy, and our interview with creator Koki Yoshimune, in which he shared a lot of interesting information, including a few tidbits on Strike Frontier.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
