PS Vita players have been waiting for a long time for the announcement of a release date of the upcoming PS Vita version of Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv: Alternative. Today, PQube delivered.

Both games will launch in North America on June 12th, while European fans will be able to enjoy them a bit earlier, on June 8th. Both games will be available physically and digitally.

If you're unfamiliar with the series, it's considered among the best visual novel franchise ever released, starting with a light-hearted romantic harem story in the first half of Muv-Luv (Muv-Luv Extra) only to take a radical sci-fi turn into the second half (Muv-Luv Unlimited), and then brutalizing the player's heart in the sequel Muv-Luv Alternative.

If you follow my writing, you probably know that they're among my favorite games of all time, as you can read in my recent review of the PC version.

Below you can check out a few screenshots, and some lovely artwork from both games. If you're interested in the future of the series, you should also enjoy my recent interview with creator Koki Yoshimune, in which he shared a lot of interesting information about the games and what might come next.
