Publisher Devolver Digital has announced on their official Twitter that My Friend Pedro has sold over 250,000 units already just a week after release. Since the title is currently only available on PC and Nintendo Switch, that's a remarkable figure to reach, especially also due to it being a small indie title. This only goes to show that there's a pretty big demand for games like this and long may it continue.

Devolver Digital truly have a reason to celebrate here given that their previous game Katana Zero, had a fantastic time throughout sales selling 100,000 copies across the Switch and PC in its first week when it released in April and now their newest title breaking that record by more than half. To keep the celebrations going, they have also released a “Behind the Schemes” video where J T from Devolver talks to Victor Agren from DeadToast Entertainment who developed My Friend Pedro

Victor discusses what got him into gaming, the journey he had to take to get him where he is now and talks more on the development side of My Friend Pedro. You can check out the video for yourself at the end of this article.

My Friend Pedro is available to purchase on Nintendo Switch and PC and while you are here, you can take a read at DualShockers review of the title where it received a score of 7.5/10.
