My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 16 Recap

The previous episode started with a flashback of Keigo Takami's life, living in a terrible and abusive household. His father was a villain on the run with his mother for murdering someone. Keigo looked up at the Heroes with sparkling eyes, especially Endeavour, whose plushie he would never give up. However, he never considered them anything more than fantasy, until one day when his father was arrested by Endeavour.

Left with his mother on the streets, Keigo was asked by his mother to use his powers, after which he saved some civilians. As a result, Keigo was approached and recruited by the Hero Public Safety Commission, and since then, they have had to cut their names from the Takami Family. In the present, Hawks and Best Jeanist discussed how the latter was put into a death-like state to fool Dabi. Best Jeanist defeated some goons on the street while the police were busy with the escaped villains. There he learned that the hero offices nearby have shut down, indicating how much trust the civilians have lost in them.
