My Hero Academia episode 131

It was revealed that while Toya was a better fire Quirk user than his father, he could be damaged by his own flames because of his matrilineal side. However, his mother is responsible for his resistance to ice. To protect Toya, Endeavour stopped giving him quirk training and married Rei Hemura to produce offspring that could defeat All Might. After Shoto's birth, Endeavour was overjoyed as he had a quirk combination that he desired, but this shattered Toya. As a result, Toya attacked Shoto, after which, Endeavour cut all the connections between Shoto and other siblings.

Despite being restricted from training, Toya continued to master his quirk to the point that his fire changed from red to blue. Hoping this father would be impressed, Toya revealed his progress to Endeavour, but he took out his anger on Rei for being unable to stop Toya from training. Rei broke down, and the incident resulted in Shoto getting burned while Rei got hospitalized. On the other hand, Toya burned the entire mountain down due to Quirk's overload.

Back to the present, the family admitted that they all had a role in Toya's current situation, and Rei assured Endeavour that they would help him stop Dabi. In the meantime, Hawks and Beast Jeanist arrived and updated him on the current situation and suggested teaming up in order to solve the ongoing problems. Hawks then asked Endeavor about One For All, after which he told him about Midoriya. At the end of the episode, we saw All Might watching Midoriya, who was conversing with previous users of One For All.
