My Hero One’s Justice 2 Launches This March, Will Include a Story Mode for Each Character

The release date for My Hero One's Justice 2, coming to PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC, was revealed via the usual magazine leaks.

If you’ve been waiting for the next game about Deku and friends, Bandai Namco revealed the release date for My Hero One’s Justice 2. The game will be launching on March 12 for PS4, Switch and Xbox One. Only a Japanese date was confirmed for now, and we heard this via the usual magazine leaks. However, a worldwide release on the same date will probably be confirmed in the next few days.

Through the same leaks, we also learned that Sir Nighteye aka Mirai Sasaki will be among the new characters in this sequel. He can use his Foresight Quirk in battle. We also learned the game will now include a Side Kick Plus Ultra System that basically works like a support character system, letting you call a character during battles for help. And each character, heroes and villains, will each have their own story mode.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 seems to be more or less the same as the first game. I’m also still puzzled as to why the game isn’t called My Hero Academia One’s Justice 2 in the west like in Japan. I’ve personally never touched Kohei Horikoshi’s manga as I stopped following most shonen manga for years now. Especially when they’re weekly manga like Boku no Hero Academia. Monthly shonen manga are overall always more interesting nowadays. I recommend the stuff in Shonen Sirius for example.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 was announced back in September. You can catch the first trailer and the first screenshots here. Bandai Namco published another trailer at New York Comic-Con in October.
