My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex is another excellent anime coming for the people who love to watch romantic comedy anime. Recently, the studio revealed a new trailer, key visual, cast, and other information for the upcoming anime series.
Seems like 2022 is the year of romantic comedy anime. First, My Dress-Up Darling, then Kaguya sama: Love is War, then Shikiromi's Not Just a Cutie, and now, My Stopmom's Daughter Is My Ex. And more similar types of anime shows are lined up for this year. Written by Kyōsuke Kamishiro and illustrated by Takayaki, season one of, My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex is announced in the new trailer, and visual that got released just recently.
The anime revolves around the life of two teens, Mizuto and Yume, who became a couple in high school. But, as things didn't work out as planned, the two broke up, finally leaving them with hard feelings for each other. But to their surprise, it wasn't the end of their relationship as their parents felt for each other and got married, turning Mizuto and Yume into stepsiblings. Their old affection and feelings for each other arise from time to time, making it hard to move on.

My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex Trailer And Visual Released
The trailer for the upcoming anime released on their official website indeed looks exciting. Mizuto and Yume can be seen teasing each other and showing their tough side. But they are actually trying to disguise their true feelings and help their parents maintain their new relationship. Although no specific release date has been announced for the anime, it will get released in July 2022.

The new trailer reveals the opening theme of My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex; "Deneb And Spica" by DIALOGUE +. More characters are also introduced, Ikumi Hasegawa as Akatsuki Minami, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kogure Kawanami, and Miyu Tomita as Isana Higashira. Project No. 9 is the studio behind the anime.

The anime will release on multiple networks like AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and BS Fuji for the viewers in Japan. For the international fans, the anime will most probably release on Crunchyroll, but it's not confirmed yet.
