Recently, the editor in charge of Attack on Titan at Weekly Shonen Jump magazine made an interesting comment regarding the series’ future, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

The Attack on Titan manga by Hajime Isayama has already come to an end with the release of its final chapter a few months back. However, the anime community is still waiting for the Final season to come back with Part 2. Fortunately, MAPPA, the studio working on AOT Season 4, recently confirmed that the anime will return on January 9th, 2022. Along with that, the creators released a new trailer for the anime.

Of course, the entire anime community is thrilled to see a new trailer for the upcoming season. But at the same time, fans wonder if the author plans on releasing more projects relating to Attack on Titan after the anime ends next year.

More Attack On Titan Projects Teased

Interestingly, a manga editor at Weekly Shonen Jump, who’s also in charge of Attack on Titan, thanked the people working on the AOT anime. In his tweet, the editor said that “Even if the manga has ended, the fun (and our work) didn’t, thanks to the anime! Look forward to the final season!

However, the editor’s tweet also stated that they are already in discussion to launch more AOT projects besides the anime. “We’ve also started discussions for projects besides anime we could do in these next few years; look forward to that as well,” said the official tweet.

Judging from all that, it’s safe to say that we might see some more AOT projects releasing in the next few years. As of now, it’s hard to say what exactly are the upcoming projects; it could be an art expo, games, merchandise, talk show events, or maybe if we are lucky, a spin-off manga series.

Obviously, it’s hard to pin a particular project until creators reveal more information about the same. But don’t fret; we’ll definitely update you as soon as we hear something more about these mysterious projects. Meanwhile, you can go back to rewatch the previous anime episodes since the Final Season is getting close to its official release.
