Remember that show MythBusters? Yeah, the one you used to watch with your dad while sitting around on Saturday afternoons with nothing to do in the early 2000s. It was a fun show where every episode something was bound to either blow up or get shot. Well, apparently the show is still on TV and now, during the low point of its popularity, it has been decided that it should have a video game counterpart. No, I'm not kidding.

MythBusters: The Game was formally announced just recently via a new trailer that seems to feature no actual gameplay whatsoever. The entire trailer just seems to remind you of how MythBusters works in the first place. Is there a myth or old wives' tale that has somehow been thought to be true for a long period of time? Well, through the power of science, you must put that notion to the test and see if it does indeed hold up.

By far the weirdest part of the entire trailer is that apparently, the game will feature Walter White from the hit series Breaking Bad. While I'm only kidding (I think?), the character model in this video looks surprisingly identical to Bryan Cranston's iconic character from Breaking Bad. Maybe he survived the show's finale and decided to get out of the meth business and jump into the myth-busting business instead.

In reality, though, this character is probably meant to be more of a hybrid of former MythBusters hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, at least I think? If the two of them somehow had a child, this strange character seen in this trailer is what I'd envision their kid looking like.

Everything about this announcement is just so dang weird. Please watch the trailer below so you can be as bewildered by this whole thing as I am.

MythBusters: The Game currently has no release date but it's slated to launch on PC down the road.
