N64’s F-Zero X Races to Wii U’s Virtual Console Tomorrow in North America

While yesterday’s cancellation of The Next Penelope may be a mild disappointment to hopeful old-school racing fans on the Wii U, Nintendo has announced that Nintendo 64’s F-Zero X will be making its North America debut tomorrow. Developed and produced by Nintendo, the originally launched July 14, 1998 exclusively on Nintendo 64.

While F-Zero X wasn’t nearly a critical success to the ranks of Wave Length, the game did see an overwhelmingly positive reception. F-Zero X is well known to have fantastic gameplay for an N64 era game, at the cost of graphic fidelity.

As mentioned above, F-Zero X will be available on Wii U’s eShop for $9.99.
