Namco Bandai Obtains All Rights to Power Rangers Console Games

I doubt we’ll be getting Power Rangers x Katamari, but still. Namco Bandai has just acquired the exclusive rights to publish console games based off of the new Power Rangers series Power Rangers Samurai.

“We are excited to be partnering with NAMCO BANDAI to bring the Power Rangersvideo games to game consoles across America,” said Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands.  With the debut of Power Rangers Samurai next week we will be introducing these heroes to an entirely new generation of fans and partnerships like this one are key to the success of the brand.”

So it’s probably going to be mediocre kids games. Ah well. Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll get Dynasty Warriors: Power Rangers Samurai. Which would definitely be a day one purchase for me.
