Namco-Bandai games is dropping their two hottest games of the season today: Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and Splatterhouse.  Majin, as you may remember, follows the story of a thief as he struggles to restore a kingdom (which we can safely assume is somehow forsaken) with the help of his new tree ogre demon BFF. We'll have a review up soon, but our friend John was pretty excited about the title back in October. It also launches at a low price of just $39.99.

Splatterhouse follows the story of  a mild-mannered college student Rick Taylor as he attempts to rescue his girlfriend. Wait, what? Really? That dude is a college student? Well, as it turns out putting on some sort of "Terror Mask" is the only way to get Jennifer back, and as it turns out, the mask turns him into a murder machine. Who would've guessed, right? Oh, and don't forget, you can play the classic Splatterhouse on iOS as well as mobile platforms.

Anyway, both games are out today. Seems odd to compete with yourself there, Namco, but I guess these games have somewhat different target audiences.
