Nariko and Sir Daniel Get In On the Battle Royale

SuperBot Entertainment and Gamespot today released a video showing off gameplay of the last two Playstation All-Stars characters announced for PAX Prime, Nariko from Heavenly Sword and Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil. Accompanied by Metal Gear Rising’s Raiden and Evil Cole Mcgrath, the four fighters go at it as Game Director Omar Kendall and Sony Santa Monica Lead Game Designer Seth Killian expand on the characters’ abilities.

Sir Daniel seems pretty straightforward. Protected by a large shield while wielding an even larger sword in one hand, Sir Daniel’s moveset seems to be “slow but powerful”, building full meter levels in small combos. It’s gonna take a good level of prediction and spacing to utilize the character at his greatest potential, but I’ve been burned by slow swordsmen before. Nariko seems to have a large number of tools at her disposal (which I’m sure are all relevant to Heavenly Sword, but I did not play it) to place her amongst the ranks of the other action game stars.

Does this end the character reveals for Playstation All-Stars? There were some hints that the 20 characters were not the full roster, I guess we wont know until Playstation All-Stars hits shelves on November 20th.
