Naruto Powerful Shippuden Ninja Dashes Its Way To The West Early 2013

Namco Bandai and studio Inti Creates (which gave the world Mega Man ZX) has confirmed that their “super deformed” chibi-styled game, Naruto Powerful Shippuden, is making its way to North America, and its coming soon.

Having recently released in Japan as Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden, NPN is a comical game that stars Naruto and Rock Lee as “dual protagonists” in a story partially based off the Naruto the spin-off manga Rock Lee’s Springtime of Youth Full Power Ninjden (boy, what a mouthful).

NPN is a mission-based action brawler that allows players to enjoy series-gags and in-jokes while performing special attacks, calling in allies (like Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru) for help, and powering up to Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and Eight Gates Mode, respectively.

Expect the game to release in North America sometime in March, 2013. Until then, check out the trailer and gallery below, and stay tuned to for more news.
