Bandai Namco and Sony Interactive Entertainment showed off 16 minutes of new gameplay from the upcoming Naruto title, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker during a Sony stage event at Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong, that began yesterday.

The gameplay starts off with Naruto running around the map on walls and on the ground in typical shinobi fashion. Shinobi Striker looks like it's aiming to recreate the high-octane ninja movement the series is known for.

Later on in the video, we get a glimpse at a four-player boss battle. The footage features main characters Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi from the series' Shippuden arc facing off against Gaara's Jinchuuriki, Shukaku. If you know Naruto you know that this obviously isn't canon, but it might mean we get missions similar to last year's Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's cooperative boss battles that'll pit you up against baddies from the entire series.

Earlier this month at Anime Expo we got the chance to see a brand new gameplay trailer for the game as well as a look at some of Shinobi Striker's game-modes.

In other Naruto game-related news, earlier this month Bandai Namco announced a release date for the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy Collection and Trilogy in the West.

Below you can check out the brand new gameplay footage. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is set to release sometime in early 2018 over here in the West on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
