Go Behind the Scenes with Natalie Dormer as Dr Lexi T’Perro in Mass Effect: Andromeda
Today, in addition to the new gameplay trailer and screenshots, developer BioWare and publisher EA released a new behind the scenes-type video that features Game of Thrones (Margaery Tyrell) star Natal Dormer who voices one of the game’s central characters and one of the first characters players will meet when they wake up from their 600-year cyro sleep: Dr Lexi T’Perro.
According to BioWare, Dr Lexi is calm and compassionate with a feisty edge. Her role is to maintain crew fitness, both physical and mental, and research how the environments and situations they are exposed to throughout the Andromeda galaxy affect human biology and psychology. Oh and she’s an asari.
The video also describes Lexi as someone who has experience and wisdom under her belt, which in turn allows her to advise the player throughout different times during the game. However, she isn’t without emotion or compassion, and so she tries to walk the line of being a professional doctor, but sometimes she tips over it.
Further, the video, or at least Dormer, points out that in the game she has some “great, wry lines” and some great dry humor at times.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to launch on March 21, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
