Naughty Dog Animator’s Dante’s Inferno Short Will Get Act 1 in 2015: Fantastic Monster Art Released

on December 31, 2014 5:11 PM

You might remember the fantastic Dante’s Inferno-inspired fan short Dante’s Redemption that Naughty Dog senior Cinematic Animator Tal Peleg made this year in his own spare time.

If you liked it (and if you didn’t, what’s wrong with you?), there’s more coming. Peleg and his team are creating a full fledged Act 1 that will come in 2015.

Recently, they released a teaser picture and artwork for two of the monsters that Dante will face, a hell beast and a Giant Hell Chiropteras,

The Chiropteras was designed by one of Naughty Dog’s newest character artists, Richard Lyons, who joined the house of Uncharted and The Last of Us in early 2014.

You can check out the new artwork below, while we eagerly wait for the video.

Note: as usual remember that this is a fan project made by Tal Peleg with the help of a few Naughty Dog artists and other industry professionals in their own free time. Naughty Dog and Electronic Arts themselves are not involved in the project.
