Battle X: Birth of the Alliance is a VR-optional shooter with real-world weapons, gear, vehicles, and more. So far, the game has only been announced for PC, but will be available on both Oculus Rift's headset and Steam's Vive. Early Access for the game will begin on April 30, 2018 through Steam.

Battle X: Birth of the Alliance is a game where DNA is the ultimate weapon, and securing a deadly pathogen is your main goal. Taking cover using entire body movements is one of the innovations found in the game. It includes PvP multiplayer, co-op multiplayer versus a mutant army, a single player campaign, and a training feature where you can play with all the available weapons and toys. The PvP multiplayer will have various eight-on-eight scenarios, including one called 'Explosive War'.

Steve Won, the CEO of Naviworks, had this to say:

BattleX: Birth of the Alliance is a groundbreaking first-person shooter that employs Naviworks' nearly two decades of experience developing military simulation software...We look forward to treating PC players and VR enthusiasts to an authentic military simulation when Battle X releases on Steam Early Access this April."

Coming in April 30, 2018, Battle X: Rise of the Alliance will be hitting the HTC Vive, Oculus VR and Windows PC through Steam's Early Access. You can check out the announcement trailer below, or visit the official site for the upcoming game here.
